I'm only running two-ish weeks behind. This is an improvement.
I'm going to keep telling myself that, and hope that I can come to accept it.
The Victober 2023 collection has been posted to Amazon (they have yet to publish it, for stupid reasons, as usual CORRECTION, got the email, it will go live while I'm typing this post), but it is short one book. I just Did Not Have Time to spend another eighteen-nineteen hours proofreading (and another eight, minimum, entering corrections) on the fourth book before the end of the month. I have the Eerie Collection still to publish, for starters.
Both collections were meant to be published on 3 October. It is now 19 October. Victober just went live, and Eerie will go up by early next week.
Still, 376,000 words of Victorian fiction is substantial. I can't sneeze at it.
Free versions for subscribers are going up tonight and tomorrow, and the first two novels that are done from the Eerie Collection as well.
My main consolation is that, thanks to Midjourney, the covers are all awesome.
