I realize that I shared some author names, but no titles, of what is in the immediate publishing queue. So, to make up for that lack, here is what is in the immediate future for iktaPOP Media.
- The Smiling Desperado by Max Brand. This is a very strong Brand western, and had the publishing climate of the 1920s been a little less strict, could have been a precursor to the western noir subgenre.
- Tarnished Utopia by Malcolm Jameson. One of Jameson's very few novels, and quite fun. A WWII soldier and a European woman get caught in a bunker, sleep for a thousand years, and wake up in a techno-dictatorship.
- Too Fair To Die by Cleve Adams. Top-notch hard boiled detective fiction, the last novel written by a master who is somewhat forgotten alas.
- Black Wings Has My Angel by Elliot Chaze. A Gold Medal paperback original noir that is every bit as good as its title.
Beyond that, the rest of the schedule for the year, as planned, includes the following.
- The Complete Charles Cloukey
- Sojarr of Titan by Manly Wade Wellman
- The Cross Brand by Max Brand
- On the Trail of Four by Max Brand
- Two Worlds To Save by William Morrison
- Bring Him Back Alive! by Donald Ross (Fred MacIsaac)
- Lost Sheep by Vere Shortt
- A Million Years To Conquer by Henry Kuttner
- Gun Wolves' Wages by Chuck Martin
- The Woman Aroused by Ed Lacy
- The Long Fight by G. W. Ogden
When I get to any one of these is dependent on the whims of my reading interest, and there are a few unlisted ringers that might precede some or all of these as well.
