Amazon reinstated my account. And published the book that supposedly set off this whole fiasco.
This does not mean that I will trust Amazon going forward. Direct ecommerce on my site, and alternate channels for distribution, are going to happen. They are just not as gut-clenchingly urgent now.
My own writing is going to get more attention, and soon. Which means the pace of public domain books will, unfortunately, slow. And I may start looking to take on other authors as editing clients again, though I've not fully decided that one yet.
But for now, things are pretty good. A damn sight better than they were three days ago.
